Three people arrested in Toulouse massacre investigation
(AGI) Toulouse – Three people have been arrested in conncetion with the massacre at the ‘Ozar Hatorah’ Jewish school in Toulouse. French police sources made known that the alleged killer’s mother, brother and girlfriend have been arrested.
According to the current regulations on this matter, they can be kept in jail for a maximum of four days without the need to lay any accusation against them. Interior minister Claude Gueant, explained that it is a “precautionary arrest”. In the meanwhile, police searched the homes of the alleged killer’s kins. At the moment, the man, who has been identified as Mohammed Merah, 24, a French citizen of Algerian origin, resident in Toulouse, is shut in a flat surrounded by the police special forces. His brother had already been arrested and was being questioned; his mother was brought to the place of the siege to help negotiations, but refused to cooperate. . .
